North Central Texas College’s Strategic Plan (2025-2030) outlines key priorities designed to strengthen communication, enhance resources, support student success, and expand community engagement.


Goal 1: Communication Strategy

Internal Communication & Coordination
The College will strengthen collaboration across departments and leadership levels by monitoring open and click rates on digest emails, employee feedback survey results, and the number of staff referencing organizational charts or resource documents.

Campus-Specific & Geographic Alignment
The College will promote consistent communication across all locations, including rural and satellite campuses, through satisfaction surveys, participation in local events and alerts, and visibility of updated signage and communications.

Technology, Tools & Platforms
The College will modernize communication systems for greater integration, functionality, and ease of use by evaluating site analytics, improving support request resolution time, and increasing usage of centralized communication tools.

Leadership Visibility & Transparency
The College will increase meaningful communication between senior leadership and the NCTC community by tracking updates delivered, staff awareness from surveys, and participation in leadership sessions or Q&A opportunities.

Event, Crisis & Facilities Communication
The College will enhance preparedness and responsiveness through clear protocols and reliable updates by monitoring incident response times, post-incident feedback, and usage of communication flowcharts and tools.

Human Resources & Staffing
The College will expand staffing capacity and ensure balanced workload distribution by evaluating staff-to-student ratios, turnover rates, and workload balance.

Technology & Systems
The College will invest in user-friendly platforms that support teaching, learning, and operations by monitoring system uptime, technology support resolution, and training participation.

Facilities & Equipment
The College will maintain and enhance learning spaces and infrastructure by tracking lab usage, condition reports, and equipment availability.

Student Resources & Services
The College will broaden access to advising, wellness, academic support, and career development services by monitoring usage data and student feedback.

Academic Programs & Faculty Support
The College will support faculty innovation by evaluating course fill rates and faculty retention rates.
