The TRIO Student Support Services (SSS) program provides comprehensive, individualized services to students enrolled at NCTC campuses each academic year. The mission of the federally funded program is to increase the retention and graduation rates of eligible participants and to foster an institutional climate supportive of first-generation, low-income college students and students with disabilities. TRIO SSS students receive services that include: one-on-one tutoring, academic advising, career counseling, financial aid information, cultural enrichment activities, personal counseling, and educational workshops geared to give students tools to succeed in college.
