RBTC 1301 - Programmable Logic Controllers
A study in programmable logic controllers (PLC). Topics include processor units, numbering systems, memory organization, relay type devices, timers, counters, data manipulators, and programming.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students should be able to
- write a working PLC program using ladder logic;
- install and troubleshoot the program;
- and integrate PLCs into electro-mechanical systems.
