VNSG 1234 - Pediatrics
Study of childhood diseases and childcare from infancy through adolescence. Focus on the care of the well and the ill child utilizing the nursing process.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- identify safety principles related to childcare;
- discuss primary nursing care of the pediatric patient and family during health and disease;
- and apply concepts of growth and development to the care of pediatric patients utilizing the nursing process and clinical judgement model.
