VNSG 1509 - Nursing Health and Illness II



Introduction to common health problems requiring medical and surgical interventions.

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

  • compare and contrast normal physiology of body systems to pathologic variations in the patient with medical-surgical health problems;
  • evaluate and treat patients with medical-surgical health problems using the nursing process including nutrition, pharmacological therapy, clinical judgement model, and principles of safety.
