PHTC 1035 - Basic Camera Techniques
A non-darkroom course that explores how to operate and better utilize a conventional or digital camera. Introduction to the proper use of photographic equipment such as flash and tripod to enhance picture taking.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- Explain camera care.
- Demonstrate camera manipulation and correct camera exposure settings for most lighting and subject situations.
- Operate a camera’s electronic flash.
- Demonstrate good composition for communicative images.
