HALT 2323 - Horticulture Pest Control


Examination of federal, state, and local laws and regulations governing the control of horticulture pests.  Topics include procedures, methods, safety requirements, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), and chemical, natural, and biological controls. 

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completions, students will be able to: 

  • Define pest control terminology 
  • Interpret federal, state, local laws and regulations
  • Implement IPM pest control methods and procedures
