The Level I Certificate in Child Development will help provide education and training for those students who want a career in child development. Through the program, students will have the opportunity to learn the requirements and responsibilities to properly care for children birth to 8 years. Students will also have the opportunity to meet the requirements needed to test for the Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. After receiving the Level I Certificate students can continue to the Associate of Applied Science Degree in Child Development or enter the workforce.
