Our Phlebotomy Technician program offers skill development in the performance of a variety of blood collection methods, using proper techniques and standard precautions. With an emphasis on infection prevention, patient identification, specimen labeling, quality assurance, specimen handling, processing, accessioning, professionalism, ethics, and medical terminology.
Learn venipuncture and capillary puncture in this program that teaches the basics of phlebotomy. Our program is taught by a Medical Laboratory Clinician with over a decade of experience. This program requires 48 hours of Lecture and 112 hours of externship.
