Mission: The primary mission of the NCTC Libraries is to support the instructional programs and institutional goals of the college.
The main library (Mary Josephine Cox Memorial Library) is located on the Gainesville campus. Additional campus libraries are found on the Bowie, Corinth, and Flower Mound campuses, which utilize resource sharing to give all students, faculty, and employees access to the full library catalog of print and video materials located in the four campus libraries, totaling over 60,000 items specifically curated to support assignments as well as provide some leisure reading.
Individuals possessing a current NCTC login may access our online subscriptions of over 70 research databases, newspaper archives, and over 25,000 eBooks via OneLogin.
Each campus library provides computer labs and workstations capable of accessing these subscriptions as well as CANVAS and other programs necessary for course assignments. Printers and student-use copiers are also available in the libraries.
Degreed librarians are available for individual instruction and classroom instruction on any campus. Contact the librarian nearest you for information.
Virtual library support is available to any current student, faculty, or employee using Ask a Librarian or Upswing, which connects users to the librarian that supports their location or program.
