Student Government Association

The governing board and administration of North Central Texas College value the opinions and input of students in regard to a wide variety of college-related issues and they believe strongly in empowering students by giving them a meaningful voice in the institutional decision-making process. This is done in a variety of ways which include, but are not limited to, employee search/selection committees and many standing committees of the College. In addition, student input is actively encouraged and sought on a district-wide basis from the Student Government Association. Instructions on how to attend SGA meetings can be found on the Student Life/SGA Canvas Calendar. Students are also welcomed to fill out SGA’s Student Concerns and Compliments Form to have their voices heard. Finally, students may-either individually or collectively-bring issues before the Instructional Council, Chancellor’s Cabinet or other administrative bodies of the College at any time by complying with the appropriate process for requesting that they be placed on the agenda.
