WLDG 1427 - Welding Codes
An in-depth study of welding codes and their development in accordance with structural standards, welding processes, destructive and nondestructive test methods.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:
- interpret codes and standards;
- interpret welding symbols;
- apply pre-weld, in-process, and shop inspection standards;
- develop welding procedures;
- calculate preheat and post-weld treatments.
