DFTG 2302 - Machine Drafting
Production of detail and assembly drawings of machines, threads, gears, utilizing tolerances, limit dimensioning, and surface finishes.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, a student will be able to:
- Interpret terms used in tolerancing.
- Identify dimensions of two mating parts.
- Draw spur and/or bevel gears.
- Draw details and assemblies.
- Identify interference and clearance fits.
- Identify types of threads forms.
- Interpret thread notes.
