DFTG 1305 - Introduction to Technical Drawing
An introduction to reading, interpreting, and developing technical drawings, including the principles of computer-aided drafting and design.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, a student will be able to:
- Produce technical sketches and drawings, including annotations, scales, line styles, orthographic projections, pictorial views, dimension drawings, calculations, and measurements.
- Identify terminology and basic functions used with 2D and 3D computer-aided drafting software.
