Behavioral and legal approaches to the management of human resources in organizations.
Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, a student will be able to:
- Explain the development of human resources management;
- Identify current methods of job analysis, recruitment, selection, training/development, performance management, promotion, and separation;
- Describe management’s ethical, social, and legal responsibilities;
- Analyze methods of compensation and benefits planning; and
- Evaluate the role of strategic human resources planning.
