VNSG 1420 - Anatomy and Physiology for Allied Health


Study of the structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the human body, including the neuroendocrine, integumentary, musculoskeletal, digestive, urinary, reproductive, respiratory, and circulatory systems.

Learning Outcomes: Upon successful completion, students will be able to:

  • Identify the structure of each of the body systems.
  • Describe the functions of each body system.
  • Discuss the interrelationship of systems in maintaining homeostasis.
