The proposed Paramedic-ADN program would be a 12-month accelerated pathway with course content delivered online. Testing, laboratory sessions, and simulations would be conducted in person on the Gainesville campus.
Students would be required to be on campus one day per week for testing and lab activities, with an additional day on certain weeks for simulation during the fall and spring semesters. Clinical experiences would be completed with a nursing preceptor during two five-week summer sessions, along with simulation activities conducted on the Gainesville campus and a one-week in-person licensing exam review.
